Another wave of content streaming options has hit the media space as Elon Musk, the CEO of X (formerly Tweeter), introduces the Beta version of XTV on your Android wall screens. Just like other OTT apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime, Disney+ and YouTube users will be able to enjoy a full array of its functionalities even as the official version is yet to be launched.
The beta version, which is currently in experimentation mode prior to the launch of the actual version, is now accessible across the United States. It hasn’t been made clear when X users from other regions will be able to access the app.
With early adopters now surfing through it’s interface, some have reported feasible usability. The feedback and recommendations are expected to shape the future release of the actual version. However, in the beta version, which is currently live on Android TVs, users can only access it on LG, Google TV, and Amazon Fire TV, as more integration awaits in the near future.

XTV comes with an arrangement of futures that will enable content enthusiasts to seamlessly transition throughout the platform. Its HD and 4K resolution presents ambiance usage and consumption of an array of contents, including documentaries, news, podcasts, gaming streams, movies, and many more.
The launch could change how people consume content across other social media platforms like YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, and other streaming platforms, which presents a big challenge to the early players.
Just like satellite internet service provider Starlink, which took other ISPs with a shocker, XTV could absorb a plethora of users from other platforms due to Musk’s absolute stance on freedom of speech.
